Armchair with matching decoration, one loose seat cushion, button tufted side arms, upholstered back and sides. Armchair with solid upholstered seat, button tufted back. Serpentine frame with an arched back and cabriole legs and scrolling feet is molded and carved with flower, leafage, drop bellflowers, etc. Upholstered in a mauve background fabric with off white floral columns. Size: 4'1" H, 5'10" W, 28" D. Condition: frame has some separation at the joints which is easily repaired by simply glueing and clamping, no losses to the frame, fabric is in good condition and tight. |

19TH C FRENCH GILT CENTERPIECE. 19th C. French gilt bronze dolphin centerpiece, large low ovoid form bowl rests upon four dolphin supports on stepped base with Rococo style swirled C scroll and double wave feet. The bowl has a fluted outer surface, scalloped top edge, basket weave band decoration around bowl, base with polished and hammered gilt surface. Marked: AX on metal bracing under base. Size: 12 1/2"H, 16 1/3"L, 11 1/4"D. (dolphin supports 7 1/2"H). Condition: minor wear to gilding on feet, holes in bowl indicate missing side decoration or handles, hole in center indicates missing central pendant drop, one join in top rim not flush. |
