Upholstered in a green mohair fabric with two bolsters. Provenance: Purchased from the Tallman family in the late 19th century, then by the current fourth owner. The Tallmans moved to Janesville, WI from New York after making a large fortune in land specualtion. They built an extravagant house in Janesville in 1855-1857.
