Studio's Banquet and Ball held in honor of the 1937 Convention delegates on June 3rd, 1937
at the Coconut Grove Restaurant in the Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles was the occasion and
the sit e for the consignor to gather the signatures therein. The lot consists of the cord
bound program with embossed and gilt "20TH CENTURY FOX" Logo on the cover and
vellum covered pagesincluding a two page spread of Twentieth Century Fox's artist's facs
imiles of signatures, etc. 12" x 9". (Condition: there are ink stains on the
cover of the program; binding is beginning to tear, stain on the back cover.) An embossed
menu from the Coconut Grove Restaurant from Monday, February 14th, 1938 is signed w ith
autographs. The reverse of the menu is drawn with a diagram in pencil showing the seating
arrangement with prominent guest's names in one hand and the individual signatures close
to these. Many celebrity signatures! Note: horizontal and verticalc reasing. 14" x
