depicting animals. Gilt embellished. Marked with a bear cipher and initials

SEVRES PORCELAIN DINNER PLATES. Set of nine. Mark: "Spaulding & Co., Paris and Chicago". "Chateau des Tuileries". Cobalt blue scalloped flange lavishly embellished with gilt, the center being hand painted in polychrome with a chateau, figures, water, bridges, etc. in a landscape. Each depicts a different chateau which is designated in script on the back of the plate including "Lignierres", "Tosselin", "Vaux-le Praslin", "Bourg Argental", "Sailleraye", etc. (Note: the plate entitled "Camblin" has rim chip on the underside.) 9 1/2" diam.
