5191 TIFFANY LAMP. 1899-1920. Favrile glass and gilt bronze turtleback tile and prism lamp. 29" (73.7cm) h., 18 1/2" (47.0cm) dia. Condition: lacks prisms, lacks finial, original patination worn. Note: unsigned, but guaranteed to be Tiffany. Estimate : $15,000-25,000.  Price $10,500.00

5179 VENETIAN LANTERN TORCHIERES. N/R. 19/20th century. Gilt and polychrome paint over gessoed cast plaster decoration on wood base. Torchiere bases and pierced lantern are decorated with birds, c-scrolls, and leafage. Lantern pole covered in a plush fabric. Always were electric. 80" (203cm) h., 16" (40.6cm) dia. Approx. 60 lbs. each. Condition: One lamp has a 6" (15 cm) section of plaster decoration missing from the base and a 2 1/2" (6.4 cm) and 3" (7.6 cm) section from the lantern support. Th e other torchiere has a 2" (5 cm) and a 3 1/2" (9 cm) section missing on the lantern support only. Minor paint chips and plaster chips overall. Estimate: $400-800. Sept. 16, 2001. Price $1000.00.
