CHOCOLATE POT. Hallmarked-Britannia and lion in profile on lid and indistinct
scratched numbers "23" and "28" on base. London c.1709. Cylinder
shaped tapered sides. Heavily repousse and chased with roses, flowers, scrolled leafage,
and a flower urn on one side, cartouche set amid flowers on the other. No monogram. Goose
neck spout with dome shaped hinged lid held by sliding pin and chain-similarly decorated.
Orb finial. Applied round stepped base appears to be formed separately from body of pot.

"GEORGIAN" STERLING SILVER TEA SERVICE.
"Georgian". Date mark 1936. American. Taunton, Massachusetts. Mark: bird, R, and
lion. Total weight of this service is over 345 troy ounces. Seven pieces-all marked
"575A" and with Reed and Barton hallmark. Includes coffee pot, tea pot, hot
water on stand, covered sugar, creamer, waste and large tray. All pieces are monogrammed
and crested with a bent, armored arm rising from the sea and holding a dirk with the Latin
phrase "Impavide" beneath. Condition is excellent. Ornately hand chased with
flowers, scroll work, and central cartouche front and back. Front cartouche boasts a
crest. Shaped "D" handles. Bulbous form on round pedestal foot. Spouts are goose
neck shaped with shaped mouths. Handles are elongated shaped D-curve, and lids are round
stepped and proudly terminate in an acorn and fruited finial.
TRAY: Oval with applied handles to either side. Flange is 2"w.
(5.1cm) at the sides and 3" (7.6cm) at both ends, the perimeter being entirely
gadrooned. The flange is chased and embossed with flowers, leaves, and scrollwork-matching
the serving pieces. The oval well bears the crest and 15 1/2" x 22" (39.4 x
55.9cm). Entire tray is 33"w (83.8cm). with the handles. Tray without handles is 19
1/2"(49.5cm) x 28" (49.5 x 71.1cm). (Note: tray has light surface scratches.)
This tray weighs approx. 12 pounds or 175 troy ounces.
HOT WATER: 4 pts. and bears crest. Stationary handle and hinged lid. Pot
tips on support 7 1/2"h.(19.05cm) with splayed, floral, scrolled sides and rises from

Providence, Rhode Island -
later the Gorham Corporation. Hollowware mark: script D within an oval which is within a
crowned cartouche. Total weight of this service is over 320 troy ounces. All have
scalloped, three-tiered reeded rims. Finials and insulators are all pale ivory in color
with age cracks and age discoloration. All have slightly rounded, paneled sides
elaborately embossed with scrollwork, flowers, and leaves at the top and additional leaves
and bellflowers at the base. Spouts are goose-neck shaped with shaped mouths. Handles are
elongated All have scalloped, three-tiered reeded rims. Finials and insulators are all
pale ivory in color with age cracks and age discoloration. All have slightly rounded,
paneled sides elaborately embossed with scrollwork, flowers, and leaves at the top and
additional leaves and bellflowers at the base. Spouts are goose-neck shaped with shaped
mouths. Handles are elongated It is 30" (76.2cm) w. with the handles. Tray itself is
20" x 26" (50.8cm x 66.1cm). (Note: tray has light surface scratches.) This tray
weighs approx. 164.1 troy ounces.

pedestals sitting on a square foot. Beaded rims and narrow fluted panels on the sides and
lid. C-scroll, reeded handles. Tiny beads
accent the perimeters. Reeded spout on the tea pot. (Note: hinged lid is detached.)
Tray: rectangular with scalloped corners and curved handles to either
