Foo dogs have green bodies with dot and line decoratoin, iron red raised decorative highlights, iron red lips and tongues, open mouth with detailed teeth. One dog has paw resting on animals, the other holds a giant reticulated pearl. Each dog is adorned with elaborate 18th C. style wigs descending down their backs. The blade is slightly tarnished, but is in good condition considering age. The leather on the scabbard has age appropriate wear, and the metal bands are slightly rusted.
